How to contact if I have questions?

You can send an email or WhatsApp if you have any questions.

If you want to make a phone call, please note that you first need to schedule a phone call appointment. 

 

Can I visit the studio?

Sure, you can visit the studio in Breda. You need to make an appointment with the artist Monique de Kruijk. Please note that Artwork XL has no showroom, so please let her know in advance which paintings you would like to see. Monique will make sure that you can exhibit the requested artworks.

How do I know if my artwork is framed?

The artwork is framed depending on its size. 
Most of smaller paintings are shipped framed however large paintings are painted on unframed or not stretched canvas and shipped in that way to keep both shipping costs as well as the price of the painting low. If you want to know what applies to the painting you have chosen, you can click on the photo of the artwork and the corresponding specifications will appear, which will give you the information about the framing.

What if I want to get my artwork framed?

Upon receipt, you can decide to have the canvas framed by an external party. Artwork XL doesn't frame large artworks to keep shipping costs low.
Please note that the right of return expires as soon as the painting gets framed or stretched.

 

How is the quality of the painting?

The canvas is of heavy quality. All paintings are painted with professional studio paint. With high-quality pigments, guaranteed 100 years lightfast under museum conditions and colorfast.
This allows you to enjoy your artwork for a lifetime!

Is the picture online an accurate representation of the original painting?

Artwork XL realizes that the quality of the photos is extremely important to give you an honest idea of ​​what the painting looks like.  For that reason, we do everything we can to get a perfect, truthful photo. We pay a lot of attention to correct lighting, good brightness, sharpness and depth, so that the colors and details are showed correctly.
For the best possible image quality, we are using a 'Nikon DX D3100 'camera,  a 'Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.4G' lens and professional studio lighting of Bresser. Please note that despite all careful attention, slight differences may occur.

 

Order and Payment information 

 

Do I need an account to place an order?

Creating an account is necessary to place an order, because you need to be registered with certain payment methods.
It's only there to help make it as easy as possible for you to place an order.

 

Will I receive a confirmation of my order?

After you have placed an order, you will immediately receive an order confirmation by e-mail.

 

What payment methods do you offer?

We offer the following secure payment methods: PayPal, iDeal, Bancontact, Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and direct bank transfers. Please note that with direct bank transfer, we will prepare shipment once the payment has been received. 

 

Can I pay safely?

We use a certified payment service (Mollie – www.mollie.com) for secure payments. Payment details are not stored longer than necessary.

Can I pick up my order?

You can choose to pick up your order at Artwork XL.
Please contact us for a pick-up date.

 

What shipping methods are available?

Artwork XL uses www.parcelparcel.com to send orders with only certified couriers (UPS, TNT, DHL, DPD, FedEx...).
Which courier you get depends on the size and weight of the package  and the country of shipment.

 

Do you ship worldwide?

Monique de Kruijk sells her artworks in more than 125 countries worldwide. At the checkout you will see if the painting can be shipped to your country.  

 

How long does the shipment take?

The duration of shipment depends on the destination:
Netherlands 1-3 days, Europe 2-7 days, Worldwide 3-15 days.
Please note that there are possible delays during busy periods at the parcel carriers.

 

Will I receive a shipping confirmation?
As soon as the package has been registered at the shipping company, you will receive a shipping receipt.

 

How do I track my order?

After your shipment has been registered at the shipment company, you receive a link with a track&trace code to track your shipment.

 

What shipment fee applies to my country?

Artwork XL ships your painting with shipment costs.
How much shipping costs you have to pay depends on the country of destination and the size and weight of the painting
Note that international customs charges (and any other costs) are the buyers responsibility.  

 
Why do I have to pay shipment fee?
To keep it fair.
If shipping costs are calculated in the price, then the artworks are more expensive and customers with a lower shipping rate are disadvantaged.

How will my order get packed?

Don't worry! Your order will be well packed in a firm cardboard box with enough padding to avoid damages. It's packed waterproof and impact resistant.

Returns, refunds and claims

 

What if I am not satisfied with my order?

Artwork XL wants you to be happy and satisfied with your purchase.
If the purchase does not meet your expectations, please contact us so that we can help you with a suitable solution. Read here about
 claims.

 

Can I cancel or change my order?  

You can only cancel or change your order immediately after purchase, before the package has been shipped. If you change your mind, please contact us immediately. Once the package has been shipped, we can no longer cancel your order.  

 

What to do when my package gets damaged?

All paintings are packed so well and safely that it is almost impossible that they arrive damaged at your destination. If you do see damage when your package is delivered, please submit the claim immediately to your courier. Don't forget to keep all boxes and packing materials and pack it in the same way it was delivered.

Can I return my artwork?

Artwork XL wants you to be happy with your painting. If it does not meet your expectations, you can return the painting.
